「 act 」は、事務所やギャラリーをもたず、大阪や京都、奈良など関西を拠点に活動するクリエイターのプラットフォームです。2014年、アーティストの城下浩伺とTACOによって、「 act 」の原点、そして、象徴となる展覧会が開催されました。デザイナーやカメラマン、翻訳者など、さまざまなジャンルから協力者が集い、この展覧会を実現することができました。表現しつづけることを選んだ彼らと、それをサポートするメンバーによって「 act 」はなりたっています。これから目指すべき道はまだ明確ではありません。しかし、「 act 」の取り組みはその道を生み出すためのものになればと願っています。

“act” is a platform for anyone who dedicates in creative works around the Kansai area, such as Osaka, Kyoto and Nara without having their own office or gallery. In 2014, we held a series of exhibitions of two artists, Koji Shirosita and Taco, which is a start point of, and symbolizes “act”. Contributors from various fields such as design, photography and translation gathered and realized this exhibition. “act” is a gathering of those who have chosen their way to keep expressing and those who support them. It is still unknown where “act” is to go. However, we hope that what we are doing as “act” creates the way.
